Development of the optimum mixing ratio
With compounds from our contract mixer, you benefit from over 25 years of experience with brake linings, clutch facings and sliding materials. We determine the composition with which your friction lining meets all requirements from your specifications.
If not all technical details such as friction coefficients, compressive strength or temperature resistance are available, we will work them out together with you. In this way, you can be sure that you have thought of everything when manufacturing your friction linings.
Making samples
Before you go into series production of your friction linings, you test the lining thoroughly - and not just theoretically on paper, but also practically directly in the application. In our laboratory, we produce sample mixtures exactly according to the individual mixing ratio of your pad.
This way, you know even before the first batch is produced whether your friction lining will deliver what you expect of it.
Quality control of raw materials
You manufacture your friction lining exclusively from high-quality raw materials. Without tying up capacities in researching the best suppliers or in quality control.
Blending in high quality machines
We deliver your material mixture in the mixing stage that is suitable for your production. And in exactly the same quality as we would use for our own production. That's why we rely exclusively on high-quality machines made in Germany for mixing.
With ongoing maintenance and support from our machine builders, we ensure that you receive your compound on time and in consistently high quality. This way you use the best technologies without tying up capital or providing space in your production.
Ongoing certification
Your friction linings meet all requirements - for this you have yourself and your production continuously certified. PZ Friction is certified according to ISO 9001 certified and as a bonding company according to DIN 6701 A2. Because the mixing of raw materials plays a key role in ensuring consistent and excellent quality, our mixing plant operates in accordance with the guidelines of the IATF 16949 certification level. This means that our linings also meet the particularly stringent quality requirements of the automotive industry.

We want your friction materials to stand up to all requirements. That's why the raw materials for your composition are mixed under the strict eyes of our friction materials experts.
Both our laboratory and the mixing plant are located at our site in Nettersheim - within sight of your personal contact. This means that spontaneous adjustments can also be made on an individual basis.

How long does it take from the first call to the delivery of the finished mixture?
At PZ Friction, you get solutions that fit you. That's why we always keep your schedule in mind when setting the delivery date. As our mixing plant is located directly at our site in Nettersheim, deliveries at short notice are also possible in principle.
However, especially in the case of complex requirements, be sure to allow enough time for the planning and development of your individual compound. This is the only way we can ensure that you really get the best solution for your application.
In what form are the mixtures delivered?
We adjust the mixing stage of your mixing products individually to your production. Almost all kneading premixes and mixing stages are possible.
Are the compounds also suitable for automotive applications?
